I love looking at this great photo. It reminds me of all of the great times we shared over the years. I am sure I speak for many when I say I am grateful to Paris Bill and Steve for all the times we shared, both training and outside the dojo, and for all I have learned about what I call "the wisdom of moving in kata."

Wow! I can't believe how good my Sensei Steve Harless looks. It's been 20yrs since I've last seen him and he looks exactly as I remembered him. He was a big inspiration to me, when taking his karate class in Tally 20yrs ago. He inspired me to have my son take Karate lessons here in Greece. I only wish he had Sensei Steve for his teacher. Sensei Steve's devotion and determination to be the best you can be,has made me the person I am today. Thank You!!!

Steve Harless and a very small band karateka worked in a tin roofed building with no heat, air or insulation. For three minute break, we went outside whether summer or winter. In the summer, it was only 95 degrees outside but 112 in the dojo. In the winter, 30 outside and 25 in The dojo. That was in Tallahassee between 1978 and 1981 for me. I still know every Matsubayashi Ryu kata I ever learned. Today I am in a Shito Ryu dojo in Ft. Myers. When the older members share stories, mine are of Steve Harless, Eric Pena, hard 6 day per week training and the toughest bunch of people I'be ever known. And, oh Yeah... Fred's Backdoor and Bullwinkle's. Respect!
